Inspired by the regenerative capacity of the freshwater polyp Hydra, this livexperiment unfolds as a form of real-life gaming, operating through central performative and sculptural elements. The wearable sculpture TREUEANZUG serves as an expressive medium for the fluid dimensions of identity and transformation. Body-bound sculptures such as codeNEUROHYD and ERLAUBTE FRUCHT not only extend the human body physically but also shift the boundaries between body and technology, subject and object. Positioned at the intersection of organic regeneration and technological augmentation, the work poses the question: Do these artifacts envision a future where identity is unbounded, fluid, and beyond binary classifications? Or do they contribute to the dissolution of established categories such as body, non-body, materiality, and community?
