Transhydran_ is a performative systems field that interweaves biological reproduction, technological extension, and embodied experience. Drawing on processes such as in vitro fertilisation, bioengineering, and the reproductive logics of the freshwater polyp Hydra, the project encompasses video works, sensory sculptures, and wearable forms. The works operate where reproduction passes through technology, materials, and procedural systems — where machines, bodies, matter, and identity can no longer be clearly separated.
