TRANSHYDRAN MASC is rooted in Raumbuch DAS ARMGEHIRN DES NOCHMENSCH, a speculative inquiry into the transcendence of physical clothing through imagination, heightened sensory perception, and neural projection. This wearable radically centers on the head — as the interface between body and consciousness. Through this reduction, the work gestures toward posthumanist notions of mind uploading, technological immersion, and the potential dissolution of the body in the singularity. TRANSHYDRAN MASC reimagines clothing not as a protective layer, but as a cognitive space — a wearable fragment of a future in which identity is no longer tethered to matter, but to the imaginative capacities of thought itself.
